We stayed at the Radisson Hotel next door and this was, after a 7 hour drive our only place to eat. The soup, mushrooms, chicken and steak were just fine. The chef did great. However one waitress acted a bit rude according us. She did not make eyecontact just placed the drinks on the table like we werent there. (It was on the terras today, the slim girl was really kind, it was the curvy one) then she came with the bill and she suggested that we had to give her a tip of 20 dollar. We gave a tip of 8 dollar was 10% because we were not that happy with her service. Then she said okaaaaah....... really awkward and just rude. I dont mind if somebody is new or if somebody makes mistakes etc. But i dont like it when someone is not being just nice but has an attitude.
We were reluctant to go here based on the reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The service and the food was great. The Long Island Ice Teas were awesome. What a lovely afternoon we spent by the side of the Panama Canal
I want there with my wife, for her birthday. They did not give her any kind of birthday venue, since her birthday was the day after. I had the shrimp tacos, they were just disappointing, no flavor at all, they did not event taste as shrimp. Lack of salt, pepper… they were not seasoned at all. Just the worse shrimps I have ever taken. I am not coming back to this restaurant for any special event.
I ate here because I was staying in the attached hotel. The food was good, but not amazing (for example they skimped on the sauce). Reasonable place to eat, but expect to pay at least $20 a person.
