Excellent cuisine is served. We had the best poblanas (enchiladas) in a long time. Everything is great, including the pasta and tacos as well as the ribeye and chicken mole. A very charming place with great personnel and chef.
I'm pretty sure there is a new owner as I've gone here many times in the last 4-5 years. The menu did have a few of the same dishes but it was much bigger. Unfortunately, food was completely different and really disappointing especially for the...price. Used to get chips and some great salsas that I loved but none of that. My dinner was 3 pork tacos for around $12, no side dishes, and there was hardly any meat, a small amount of pork and a lot more tomatoes and onions. That was it. The other person I was dining with had the shrimp with 3 sauces.. it was shrimp only and the 3 different sauces, more like an appetizer for over $20. That would be high even for U.S. prices. Sadly the service that used to be fantastic when Efren was there wasn't great either. My drink was empty when the food was delivered and then the waiter never came back so I could get another drink until I was finished with the meal. Will look for other options
We’d taken a tour to Todos Santos (see separate review) but discovered our trip didn’t include lunch. Apart from suggesting that we eat in the over-priced and ridiculously busy Hotel California, our guide seemed pretty clueless as to where we could get lunch. We looked...into a number of places, but they were either unappealing, just selling ice-cream drinks, or full. With time running out, we finally discovered Landi’s, in a side-street near the mission. Not only did they have tables but the menu looked good reasonably priced and the place was attractive and had a nice atmosphere. The food (just quesadillas and a lovely salad) was freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff appeared to be just 2 guys, one taking orders serving drinks while a much-older guy brought the food, but service was very quick and friendly, though the guys didn’t seem to speak a lot of English. We would strongly recommend Landi’s for anyone visiting Todos Santos.
My family was attending a destination wedding in Todos Santos, and our group of 10 was looking for a dinner spot. There are obviously not thousands of restaurants or associated reviews here at TA to provide guidance (many restaurants had review ratings covering the whole...range from one to five), we opted to visit Landi's. We were sat as a nice large table in the back off to the right, and provided menus by their friendly and efficient wait staff. The menu is quite extensive, reasonably priced. We enjoyed the usual appetizers of guacamole, ceviche. The main course enchilada was enormous and delicious. Many had the fish tacos were also were tasty. No problem with the water and ice, both are purified, do not worry about spoiling your trip with a GI bug. Bottom line, we appreciated the atmosphere, service, and food, definitely met our needs!
