No gluten free fryer. Risk of cross contamination. No option of accommodation. If you’re celiac, don’t go to this restaurant. Servers are friendly though.
Was here a year ago and they had a dedicated fryer. Came back for that reason. Server was unsure why but the fryer is no longer dedicated. Was the only one in Tofino.
I inquired with the hostess as to gluten free options. They can make burgers on a gluten free bun but no dedicated fryer. Asked what options there were as sides. Answer: if you can’t have gluten we will try to remove the gluten. My husband looked at me and said it wasn’t worth the risk. Hostess basically agreed and there was no offer to speak to a manager. When will restaurants get if that if a person with celiac can’t eat there then my friends and family won’t either. I’ll take my money elsewhere.
Lots of great GF options. Dedicated fryer for fries. Server was knowledgeable, great spot for an easy meal.
