There were a few employees who seemed disinterested, with the owner hovering over them and criticizing their work. The service was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. It was as if I was invisible.
Eat ice with five grandchildren at the table outside the candy jar, I was horrified to see a display of souvenir tea towels from the obscene to the vulgar. I went into the load and complained to the assistent only to say that the hand towels were their biggest seller and I should just tell the children not to read them. last time we spend dollar in this load!
Biggest varity of candy I have ever seen, and I am a sugar addict. My takeaway was a bowl of moosetracks ice cream and I was smiling for the rest of the afternoon.
Quaint little store in Tofino, but we quickly walked out after seeing the oven mitts with F-bombs and other language in the doorway. Not a great way to educate kids and not the only merchandise so decorated.
The Candy Jar is a cute, tiny shop packed with every kind of candy you can think of, as well as a case of ice cream lovely flavour options, and a good portion (double scoop of two flavours was just enough to fill in...the nooks and crannies after lunch If you have a sweet tooth this is where you need to be!
