I am a local resident of Tokashiki and follow a mostly vegan diet. The owner and staff of this restaurant are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent, with the chef having trained at authentic Italian restaurants in Japan and using ingredients from their own farms on the island. Reservations are not always accepted during busy times, but you can call ahead to inquire. Check their Instagram for the latest information on opening hours and special items. For those who don't speak Japanese, using Google Translate on screenshots can help. There are limited options for vegan food on the island, so make sure to enjoy this restaurant. I frequent this place at least once a week, sometimes even daily when I'm in the mood. Highly recommended!
We dined at this restaurant a few days ago and enjoyed a delicious meal. We returned for lunch today and once again had a great experience! When we made a reservation, our waitress, who may have been one of the owners, assured us that they could make almost any dish on the menu into a vegetarian version. When we arrived, she even left us a small note to confirm this. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was charming, and they served a variety of tasty drinks, including coffee and alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend this place, but be sure to make a reservation or arrive early as it is quite popular. Additionally, I want to mention that they use locally-sourced ingredients.
My partner and I dined at this restaurant a few days ago and returned for lunch today. Both meals were fantastic! When we made a reservation, our waitress (possibly one of the owners) assured us that they could modify nearly any dish on the menu to a vegetarian version. She even left us a sweet note when we arrived. The food was delicious, the ambiance was charming, and they offer a variety of excellent drinks, including coffee and alcoholic beverages. I highly recommend this place, but be sure to make a reservation or arrive on time, as they tend to be busy. Also, they primarily use local ingredients, which is a bonus!
There were no vegan options listed on the menu, but the restaurant was able to make a delicious tofu pizza and salad with vegan dressing. It's the only place I've been to that truly understands vegan options. (Updated from previous review on 2020-12-06)
