Gaia Ochanomizu Branch - Tokyo

We were a little confused when we arrived because the third floor was closed, but we asked in the first floor (erd-) super market and she phoned the person up, the said vegan was good. we went up and 2 of the 3 options were vegan- they were so delicious, we will definitely go again!

I went to finish the dressing over the restaurant (it is closed, in fact the cute little load is left. even if it is not strictly vegan by far, they are on some allergies (such as gluten, and they have a huuuge bag of (homemade? okara for 99¥! it will be my goodbye. I did not go into the 2nd stage (where they sell organic/sustainable substances and etc. because everything else was so overpriced. I had the vegan lunch (marked vegan on the menu in English) of fake karaage, rice, suppe, salat with sesame dressing, pasta salate, carrot salad and lotus root mixed with hot tee. the price was 1000 yen. the employee confirmed that it is vegan. they had a labeled vegan brownie, but I didn't try it. it was a good amount to eat. I didn't starve at dinner! was a little salty, but to be honest, I like that. very tasty. the food came out quickly from the kitchen. I ate in the second floor, but I heard that the third floor makes more experimental food. the first floor is a business that sells fruit and food. Title says it all, 3rd storey of a little fruit shop. No english. But just ask vegan and she 'll nod. Generally just hand her 1000 yen at the end.

Living in Osaka a year, there were some great veg spots. Gaia Shokudo is like a Tokyo version of my favorite with its filling, nicely priced and delicious lunch set. I got a tofu hamburger, salad, big bowl of brown rice, some other side dishes and delicious tea (with refills) for 1,000円! In Tokyo, you're either lucky to get cheap or good veg food; this was both! Not really in a spot I frequent but I'll definitely be back!
