There is also a seasonal dish, normally noodles or pasta, which changes every month normally. Finally they serve a vegetable curry which is always on the menu and I still haven't tried as I am always tempted by the first two options. The dining areas, in the main lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows or in the open kitchen, are very spacious and well designed. This is relaxing place for a hearty vegan lunch.
The daily dish changes everyday and you will be surprised on each visit like how your mother surprises you with warm and caring meals. Def worth a visit Updated from previous review on 2023-05-06
I first went to this restaurant in summer of 2020. Although they don 't advertise themselves as being vegan or plant-based, their menu is mainly vegan (with the exception of the occasional dairy which they will change for you if you tell them you are vegan). They serve seasonal yakuzen food which is very healthy, beautiful, and delicious. There are usually 3 lunch options as well as drinks and desserts. Some of the lunches come with a dessert and drink. Their food is all amazing and quite voluminous. I am always full by the end of it! I recommend their seasonal menu and their miso soup lunch which changes daily. The shop 's main concept is living with bicycles so there are some bicycles and bicycle books, etc. in the shop. The overall atmosphere of the shop is very relaxing and it has never been crowded when I 've been there (about 3 times in total). They have plastic dividers between the tables which are well-spaced out and they offer hand-sanitizer and mask cases so that you don 't have to put your mask directly on the table when you eat. The staff are very friendly and are all wearing masks. They are very accommodating and they understand about veganism. I recommend telling them you are vegan when you order to make sure (they told me sometimes they use dairy but they can change it upon request). There is indoor bicycle parking which is great for me because I always go here by bicycle.
