Contribuisci feedbackFully vegan menu. I got the Karaage Set, plus a side of Falafel. For food lovers who want to eat the whole lot, I know it’s tempting but don’t begin with the karaage or soup! Always start with the rice first, finish ALL of that yummy seasoned rice! Then you should start on the karaage, wrapping each morsel in lettuce first to cut the oil taste. You can sip on the soup between bites if that helps. After you’ve finished the karaage, enjoy your soup before it gets cold, and then finish with the traditional pickles last. In other words: 1) Carbs 2) Protein 3) Soup 4) Vegetables As for the Falafel, the sauce lacks a tangy flavour. I suggest adding a squeeze of lemon of possible. Next time I’ll try a different set!
Really nice staff, delicious food. I had the single person plate, which is a bunch of dishes to try. I have no idea what some of it was, and a lot of the dishes weren't very pretty to look at, but everything was really flavorful. Perfect size portions although I wish I'd had room for dessert because they have an apple caramel cake and a chocolate cake! Might need to go back. It is cash only!
Japanese cuisine is known for many animal-based dishes and broths, so it is extremely challenging to find vegan options in the country. Nagi Shokudo took the challenge and is, to my knowledge, the only 100% vegan Japanese restaurant around Shibuya and Ebisu area. It offers a variety of options for lunch and serves quite fast. Its discrete storefront makes it hard to find, and the interior is honestly humble. Lunch prices start at around 1100 yen, which is pricier than average for a home style lunch. However, I'm happy with the taste and the peace of mind that I'm not going to accidentally consume animal products in this restaurant.
Lovely taste... soy based Karage was excellent taste. Along with brown rice and small veg dips. My view about vegan tasty food totally got changed after tasting this Karage. I have tasted vegan Karage from few more places around...but this is top...vegan’s won’t miss such taste... 5* for food service, but restaurant ambience might be doing around 2 or 3*.. wish they would make it better ambience with similar or small change in cost.
A cozy vegan restaurant with quirky vibe. Highly recommended for vegan visitors from abroad. Ordered the Deli plates for 2 ppl it was all delicious and made my non vegan partner's stomach full. It seems that you can also do takeout.
