We had a mushroom-proof, literally, but it was delicious. we had been eating from grilled mushrooms to mushroom soup. also some fresh salads. if they are in the opposite and love mushrooms, this is a good place
Very good place to eat some Japanese/Chinese style vegetarian food (note that they serve also meat, be careful At lunch time, the menu set is good for the value, with antipasto vegetables, miso soup, main plate and a brown or white rice bowl. Some of their menu have some tasty soy meat. Note that they don't have an english menu but they are friendly to assist you in the choice.
We went to Sumi Bio with some friends for drinks and finger foods. Luckily all of our friends were Japanese speaking because they didn't have an English menu and none of the staff spoke English! Besides that, all of the food was really good and they had some great organic sangria and other drinks. The atmosphere was very nice and would be good for a night out. Our meat-eating Japanese friends even approved! Oh and it's pretty close to the Ebisu station too.
Can't believe I didn't know about this place sooner!! Food is great and mostly vegan. Practically everything is organic. Service top notch. Feels upscale but prices are totally reasonable... Paid under 1000 yen for a full plate of vege tempura. Glass of organic french Wine 750 yen. And since they serve meat as well I can bring my friends. They even open late. Totally coming back.
