Insanely cheap and good! There are outlets on every table and the staff is very friendly.

This is a fantastic chain that sells beef bowls. They have english menus typically and the ginger beef bowl is awesome! The chicken bowls are good too.

I order an XXL of beef and a miso soup and salad for me and my wife to share. They brought the food and asked her to order. We said we were OK because we would be sharing and the staff was rude and pushy and said we were kot allowed to share and we were forced to order more food to avoid a confrontation. The food was not that good, anyway.

5 stars not necessarily because the food is amazing, but because the service and atmosphere of this chain in Japan is far better than the other options (sukiya and nomiya) We ate at this location today (had beef and vegetables) which was a delicious blend of okra, eggplant, Japanese squash and broccoli in a light tomato sauce with the regular beef/onion miso and rice options. I find getting vegetables in Japan restaurant difficult and this meal was both filling, fresh, tasty and only 600¥. I will order it again. Choose yoshinoya if you're ever worried about food in Japan.

The food is above-average, the price is reasonable. The staff are friendly.
