My Grandpa knew every customer and would sit down with the regulars for a good conversation. And he was a stellar cook, too. When folks would come in, they would ask, is Fred cooking today? Precious memories.
The service was quite lacking, and my drink was incorrectly prepared.
Love the ice cream but every time I order their burgers they always miss up. Because when I saw no sauce like mayo, ketchup, you know the rest. THEY always add it! Even when tell them to remake they still add the sauce. It takes them about 3 trys to get it right. So older the ice cream not the burgers.
This Dairy Queen is very well managed; not all locations are like this one. I'm grateful to whoever maintains such high standards here. The team is excellent!
This is a great spot to stop at when traveling to or from the coast. The staff is friendly and accommodating. However, they had part of the restaurant closed off, which was unfortunate because it seemed like the best place to sit on such a sunny day. Aside from that, I had a good experience, and the Blizzards were fantastic. I would definitely return, and I likely will next time I'm in the area.
