Half Time Pizza - Toledo

The first time we ordered from here, we got the All Meat specialty. We 've eaten at Myles in BG many times, and liked that. We heard this was similar. It was done well, had great flavor and was a family hit. We wanted to try it again. The next time we ordered, July 25, 2021, we received a hot (burnt circle of garbage. When I called back to ask for it to be recooked, the manager(? made several excuses why their pizza could come out burnt, and stated I can 't make every pizza all day and that we have new staff that don 't know how to make them . Let me be clear the 1 star rating has nothing to do with them making a mistake. Everyone does, and that is understandable. The rating is directly related to management here. When we picked up the first time today, the manager was yelling at a young girl who took and order for broccoli as a topping, even though their website clearly stated, as of today, that this was an offered topping. Perhaps if you would treat your staff better, you wouldn 't have new staff that don 't know how to make them... Secondly, when we picked up the remade pizza, the young girl asked the manager if he wanted to see the returned pizza, to which his response was Nah, screw it! He didn 't come out to apologize, to view their mistake or take any ownership of the situation. He was more than comfortable letting his staff deal with it. Unfortunately this place has decent pizza, but terrible leadership that lends itself to inconsistent quality that, according to their manager, is just the way it goes sometimes. In a day age where staffing issues are prevalent, and the customer can literally go anywhere to find pizza, I won 't be supporting this establishment.

We visited the restaurant during a high school football game, so we were the only customers. However, several people picked up food while we were there, so the business seemed to be doing well. The staff was excellent and attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well-organized. All the employees were busy, but still managed to provide great service. We were able to try a couple of their delicious brioche cinnamon rolls, which we plan to have for breakfast. The pizza was as amazing as usual. A first-time diner from Dayton also enjoyed the experience and loved the food.

We ordered a 14-inch pizza with two toppings and the entire family loved it. The pizza had lots of cheese and was quite substantial for its size. The sauce had a nice touch of spice and added to the overall flavor. We will definitely return to this restaurant. The owner is also very welcoming and friendly.

Talk about getting your moneys worth...WOW...you better take a forklift if you choose pick up. The pizza is loaded let me rephrase that the pizza is over loaded with toppings and cheese and yes its cooked to perfection. By far the best pizza place ive ever experienced.
