Star Of India - Toledo

I think this is the best Indian food I have ever had. Flavor was fantastic, service even better!! Will definitely be back!

First time trying Indian food. Everything I got was fresh and delicious. Butter chicken, veggie samoas and butter naan and rice. The price was great too.

I recently ordered vegetable and chicken samosas through DoorDash, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The food I received was a disaster.The taste was worse – bland, and completely lacking any seasoning or flavor. The stuffs inside the vegetable samosa was really bad.It had a sour rotten taste. I expected much better quality for the price as I saw some good reviews. I wouldn't recommend ordering from here through DoorDash, as it was a complete waste of time and money. There are plenty of other options out there – avoid this one.

Possibly issues with the chef not sure but the biriyani we ordered was very moist and almost watery, no salt or spice. Garlic Naan did not have salt. Chicken pakoda was the other item and the chicken felt rubbery and stale. Each item was around $22. Honestly speaking very expensive and not good good for an Indian restaurant. Sorry, had to provide this bad review.

This is the best kept secret in Toledo. I have had Indian food all across North America, and the U.K. but the Star of India is by far the most delicious and authentic. The portion sizes are amazing. You will not be disappointed.
