As is, I think it's going to be a solid stop in our lunch rotation with my coworkers. I've driven past it every day for the last year (not even sure if it's been there that long) and never noticed it tucked away in the corner. What an awesome surprise it was though. Very nicely decorated and designed interior, excellent wait service, and top notch food. I saw a lot of things on the menu that I'd like to try in the future, but today I had the grilled chicken sandwich with the pesto cream sauce on the side and subbed a side of seasonal veggies instead of fries. The sandwich was really good, felt relatively healthy for restaurant food, and the squash was literally cooked perfectly. My coworkers had the Reuben (which he raved about), and the capricola sandwich (another rave review), with fries which were perfectly crisp and shoestring-y. I saw a couple other tables get salads, which looked massive and also really good. So many options on the menu. We were all very impressed with our visit. Our waitress was fantastic, kept on top of our drinks throughout the meal, and was super prompt with everything, understanding that we were on our lunch break.
Bring some friends and try a variety of their delicious pizzas. Tons of great drinks, beers and wines. Good times to come and great service.
5th Street is one of those places where you get frustrated because the WHOLE menu looks amazing, but you simply can't eat all the food they offer in one sitting. No exaggeration, this is one of my favorite local restaurants, and some of the best pizza I've ever had. The appetizers, fresh soups and craft beers are also 100% delicious. Plan on a pizza feeding maybe 2 people because the slices are huge and you'll want to eat the whole thing. Highly recommend the Margherita Pizza, Mushroom pizza, fried mozzarella, and caprese lollipops. Hell, I recommend literally all of it. Great job, Chef Bruce!
As always, every single time, 5 stars!! Food and service were wonderful! One of our favorite family spots!
Our food was good and our server was fine, aside from a few minor mishaps that aren't too out of the ordinary for a meal out; however, when we asked for our bills there was some confusion. Someone at our table ordered Blue Moon, which according to the vague drink menu was $4. The bill said it was $6 each. Confused, we spoke to the manager and he stated that $4 was the 12oz bottle price and $6 was the 12oz draft size. (Why a bottle and draft price differs $2 makes no sense to me anyway...? We asked where the $6 draft prices were on the menu and he pointed to a chalk board that specified the type of beers on draft with no prices listed. To stubbornly refuse to change a bill by $2 a beer due to your poor pricing communication is just bad customer service. Please consider changing your menus so that future customers don't run into this issue. From reading some Yelp reviews, this wasn't the first time this happened either.
