Restaurante Bela Vista - Tomar

A very nice place to enjoy more traditional Portuguese food. Good service and friendly wait staff. Very reasonably priced and nice flavors. We ate on the patio next to the 100 year old wisteria vine. The owner was really nice took time to explain the history of the restaurant and wisteria to us. Things like this just make for a more memorable experience. Thank you for a great dinner!

Good food, good view, good staff. I had the carne de porco alentejana and it was superb. Asked for beer at room temperature and got it.

While the food was average, it kicked up a notch by the outside patio with its twisted wood beams and view of the waterfall. A very pleasant experience as price was excellent for value. Soup was good. Tuna fish and mayo pate was stretching it a bit. Shared the spiritual cod dish which was tasty and plenty. Local white wine was a good buy. Waitress was helpful and friendly. They were out of lamb by the time of our late lunch.

Uma excelente experiência, desde o atendimento em que foram atenciosos do início ao fim, a comida, o ambiente e, como não poderia deixar de ser, uma magnífica vista em frente ao rio que fez com que a refeição fosse acompanhada com o som do mesmo. Relação preço qualidade muito boa, boas doses a preços muito acessíveis, pão estaladiço e apetitoso. Sem dúvida um lugar a revisitar quando voltarmos a tomar.

Fantastic home cooked Portuguese food. Strongly recommend the Cabrito. Great service from extremely friendly staff. English speaking for those who are nervous with their Portuguese. Have been going here for the last yrs never disappoints.
