It’s mostly known for daily lunches but you can not only arrange to have a large group in a separate area but also preorder paellas and omelette etc. to take away. There’s a traditional cafeteria area on the left away from the dining area too.
Bustling and busy, full of tradespeople, bus drivers etc tucking into big plates of delicious looking food, so clearly a local favourite. When we sat down, we were handed the standard menu, which seemed good varied but not cheap so I asked for the 'menu del dia ' and the waiter produced it on a small slip of paper from his pocket. Choice of 6 starters and 2 main courses. We had whitebait and small pasties (empanadillas) filled with octopus followed by bbq chicken and chips a huge platter. Plenty of house wine and dessert included (but too full for it), and coffee (plus a local orujo firewater), all for 8 euros per person. My advice go Mon Fri and choose the menu del dia!
Very Bush restaurant in August the dishes are nice for the value, I hope go there in a different time so we can have a more quieto and friendly environment
