Hunan Garden - Toms River

Please believe me when I say this. The one star reviews below do not reflect the excellent food that I receive time and time again. My personal recommendations include the barbecue beef stick or the chicken stick. The wontons our homemade and it’s clear when you eat them, but they are top quality. Do you know this place is to love it. Ignore the bad reviews. I think people in toms River can be quite mean actually. This is a family run business. Amazing food. Try for yourself.

We've been eating Hunan Gardens food since before John and Shirley bought this restaurant from Lisa and Uncle. But boy John and Shirley have shown how committed they are to all of their patrons. They became parents of 2 wonderful children throughout the years. Their daughter Kim, attends Rutgers and still makes time to help mom and dad out. Their son Kevin, is a graduate from HS North in Tom's River. Even during Covid theyveorked hard at staying open and serving the best Chinese food in noot just Tom's River but in my opinion Ocean County. I for one would love for them to be able to reopen sit-down eat in restaurant. John definitely has the best pork fried rice. Nobody makes it like him. Congratulations John and Shirley you really have served your patrons well. Thank you.

Horrible food and service, ordered delivery was missing food called and they said oh we will credit your charge card never did called and excuse was you have to wait a week until we do our credit card machine, very rude people food is not good! Do not waste your money! Place is dirty!

I love the food, staff, and more food. Thank you for always making my food to perfection! I love eating here!

Take out only. The best Chinese food in Toms River. Try the garlic sauce, its fantastic.
