Wallach's Farm Market Deli - Toms River

I go to this store every week and I am not happy with what I saw today. I saw an elderly person ask to use the bathroom stating that it was an emergency and they were told NO. It's inhumane to potentially cause a person young or old to have a very humiliating accident because you couldn't let them use your facility in an emergency. I've seen it happen to a child who had a medical problem when a store said NO and it was terrible. Honestly I just go there for convenience because I don't like to go to the supermarket when I just need a couple of things but the prices are high and the quality is not better. In the past I've seen employees arguing with customers and complaining about the boss. They charge extra if you don't pay in cash. There's definitely room for a lot of improvement with customer relations. The deli counter people are really nice though.

Recently stopped here for some breakfast sandwiches. Nice little local market. Staff was friendly, food did not take long and was delicious. I will definitely return in the future.

This place is Awesome!!! Everything is fresh and delicious. Delicious breakfast sandwiches. If your in the area looking for a Deli, look no further!!

I felt like I had two completely different experiences at this place. On the deli side, I ordered sandwiches and received excellent service. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, and the food was fantastic. However, when I went to the front store, it was a completely different story. The produce was spoiled, and the counter staff were extremely rude. They practically accused me of stealing because the pasta was incorrectly priced. To make matters worse, they continued to chat loudly among themselves, saying how much better the people are in North Jersey, where they’re from. This was the worst service I’ve encountered in a long time. Now I understand why people recommend only going to the deli side. I just lost another loyal customer.
