Nice pub inside, but that’s where it ends. Asked for a ham and cheese omelette came over cooked with no cheese. The other omelette again came with no cheese and was burned black inedible. Chips overcooked, maybe we was unlucky but after this and other faults will never return.
This place has recently changed hands (no longer Thai, but a traditional pub). We were doing the London—Canterbury pilgrimage, and arrive in Wrotham on a rainy weekday, hungry and eager for a brief rest in a warm pub. The owner was just leaving but was more than willing to stay and make sandwiches for us. She went far above and beyond in extending hospitality. It was a cute historic pub and a joy to find such a welcoming, friendly place on a wet day when we were tired and a little cold. Thank you so much!
Gret music night, loved the two artists, lots of songs I knew but………… Zero ventilation Zero care re covid Zero crowd control re overcrowding Felt really uncomfortable there, had to leave early missing the music as the risks were just to high Ps nice bar staff though
We went for a Thai takeaway on Friday night. The spring rolls had a thick pastry like coating and were indigestable. The chicken has been pre-cooked without the sauce and tasted of nothing. The sauces had hardly any spice and the noodles were overcooked. There appeared to be a lot of MSG in the whole meal. It was horrible! Don't be duped into going there.
