I attended my granddaughter's friend's birthday party here, and there was plenty of space. The atmosphere was really nice!

This is a nice establishment that I've visited several times for its public restrooms while out and about. The owners are welcoming and friendly, which adds to the overall experience. However, the place could really benefit from some renovations; perhaps they might receive a government COVID grant to refresh the atmosphere. The exterior is in need of some attention, as there are missing lights, and the parking lot is in poor condition—likely due to large football players parking there on weekends. Inside, the decor is quite outdated, with old furniture, but I understand that they don’t attract much business aside from local residents due to the distance from train stations and bus stops. It might be worthwhile for them to explore new avenues once restrictions are lifted. Taking responsibility for the nearby paddling pool, creating a children’s area in the garden, and appealing to families could encourage more diners to visit for meals.

The staff and landlady are friendly and helpful. This is an excellent venue for booking a party, as they now have a large marquee available for smaller gatherings. The beer garden is perfect for kids to enjoy themselves, allowing adults to relax without worrying about them.
