I did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant and left feeling sick. The chicken was dry and overcooked, with a brown color. It was also heavily soaked in oil, overpowering all other flavors. My daughter was very disappointed as she wanted to treat me for Mother's Day.

I had an experience with 2 Birds recently that left me somewhat insulted. Had I not have already known the food would be 'worth it', I can't say I honestly would have stayed. I placed my order to the phone number listed on Facebook. Unknown to me, this number was the mobile phone of the manager/owner who happily (and pleasantly) took my order and told me it would be ready in approximately ten minutes. When I arrived at the restaurant the staff behind the counter told me 'first I've heard of it'. And that was all. I was confused as to whether I could make an order, collect my take away, leave?. He then proceeded to tell me that I could place an order if I wanted to but the boss had the phone and 'proceeded to explain exactly what he thought', so of course they didnt know about the order. Halfway through my order the 'boss' rang the staff members mobile who picked up the phone and said 'yeah what? shes here. Forget about it'. After taking my order he threw my 'buzzer' onto the bench and went off to yell at whoever would listen about frustrated he was that I had the audacity to 'show up for me order' that he 'knew nothing about'. I was in complete shock. As I said earlier, thank god the food is good. Very disappointed, two birds.

I'm temporarily working across the road from the 2Birds and one of my workmates suggested I go there for lunch. I was not disappointed. The staff were extremely friendly and the food I ordered was outstanding...almost as if it was made with love!

Not only is the store visually welcoming the staff are too. They were polite and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our order. The chips were fantastic and the chicken is to die for. I would have to say their chicken ribs are the best item on the menu. 10/10 will definitely be back for more and would recommend to others. Great job guys!

We went to 2 birds on the weekend. They offer 3 different types of fried chicken. We got wings and ribs. We got the medium size lots which for lunch was prob a little too much for 2 people. Best to stick with the smaller sizes and eat it all. The ribs were the surprise. It's very meaty and easy to eat compared to the wings. We got 2 sauces (the first 2 on the list) they were a pesto style sauce. They were not the right sauce for fried chicken and we were left disappointed. Don't get me wrong the sauces were tasty and would be great for a pasta but not for chicken. They do need however a wet or saucy option for the chicken. Something that it comes out all over the top of and you have to lick your fingers after. As it was the crumb is salty and your left needing lots of drink to was it down. Lucky they do serve beer on tap which was tasty. Coors and a draft of some kind. We got side of chips and pickle. The pickles were awesome but paying $7 for 2 big pickles is a lot of $ and the chips were sub par. Best to order chips from next door hello harry as they do the best chips I've ever eaten. All in all it's a great spot (we sat in the sun on a beautiful day) and pretty good food. I will get a sandwich next time from here and will get smokey BBQ sauce for the chicken ribs.
