Primitivo - Toowoomba

If you enjoy meat, this is a fantastic place for dinner.

I visited the restaurant looking for a delicious lunch, but unfortunately the menu did not have the items I was interested in. I ended up being recommended a large meal costing over $20 as the other options I wanted were not available.

My husband (ex-chef) had the goat, which he really enjoyed. I am meat and dairy free, so I mostly watched and drank wine....loved the carved tables. Not a big fan of the self serve for water and wine...waitress was lovely.

Loved this place. good food. Friendly staffOrdered the chicken wings. The honey and herb sauce along with crispy wings is to die for ! Our mains was the mixed meat platter. All cooked nicely with individual sauces for each meat. I would come here again for my meat cravings

If you want to go back to eating basic meats without the extra meaningless and tasteless decorations you find in lots of meals, then come to Primitivo. You will feel like you are back thousands of years with the big chunks of meats you will eat. Best of all, the prices are very reasonable. Top food for top dollar.
