My recent visit to Goodcents was quite awkward. I hadn't been there in over twenty years, so I thought I'd give it another try, but I won't be returning. I ordered pasta, only to find out that I had to heat it myself—except there was no microwave available. I ended up having to ask the manager to heat it for me. My wife ordered a sandwich and couldn't even finish hers. To make matters worse, there were dead flies on the other side of the glass by the vegetables, and the overall appearance of the store felt neglected. Having managed a sub shop before, I can confidently say this is not the kind of experience you would expect from a well-run establishment.
The service here is always fantastic, but for some reason, the turkey has a strange fishy taste. It literally tastes like fish, which is the weirdest thing!
Great place. I have a problem with soggy bread so these people are so great that I have bread wrapped up then meat cheese wrapped then sides in a bowl. They are the greatest for putting up with my weird taste 5 stars all day.
6/6/2024, ordered online. They even brought my sandwich out to my car since I’m wheelchair bound. Whoever made my sandwich did an amazing job! I can’t believe JJ and subway are even open at this point.
