Tacos El Mexicano - Topeka

Embarrassingly I have ordered over $1200.00 worth of food, to go, from Tacos el Mexicano, for my family since Jan 2024. We love their tacos enchiladas. Sadly, they can’t get an order right or make sure everything is in the sack before handing it off to the delivery driver. EVERY single time something is missing- EVERY time… a taco, a complete meal, a side of rice, an extra container of salsa that was ordered paid for. I’ve even tried calling and talking to Veronica or Diana to make sure to double check the order before giving it to the delivery driver, even after talking to them, still something is missing. We ordered to go/delivery again tonight, $60 worth, and we’re missing a side of rice a side of beans. This was our last order. No more.

We lucked out and caught taco Tuesday here. Tacos were $1.50 each. The hard shells were fresh made and soft shells were very tasty. Their salsa was some of the best salsas we had ever tried. Very fresh. Close to the highway, so if you want a snack while traveling, try these guys out. They will beat out any chain fast food garbage you’ll find elsewhere. And you’ll be supporting a local biz, which also feels good.

The food was ok except for the salsa and cheese sauce. It's like it had water in it. Plus, the service was bad.

Delicious food, space to sit down, beautifully cozy atmosphere. My go-to for tacos!

My favorite place for Mexican food in Topeka!! Family owned and operated and the food is Always amazing!!
