Salt Pepper - Torbay

The steaks at this restaurant are absolutely fantastic! The staff is friendly and very attentive, making sure you have a great dining experience. The owner clearly cares a lot about the restaurant. I highly recommend it!

After reading positive reviews, my group of four visited this restaurant early in the evening. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our meal. The pizza we ordered was burnt at the bottom, and the two steak dinners we ordered were full of fat and gristle. It was clear that the chef did not handle these steaks properly. Our bill was brought to us very quickly, which was not surprising given our experience. This restaurant is definitely not a steakhouse. There are much better dining options in the harbor area. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved.

Once again we have returned to our favourite restaurant whilst visiting our holiday home.Food was as always was amazing, I had mussels for starters, followed by sirloin steak, medium rare, which was cooked to perfection, my partner had the same.Zoe, the Manager made us very welcome, we were disappointed to miss the owner, but hope to catch up with him in the week.

We went to salt pepper today for the 1st time today...I had the nicest cavery for a long time! My partners steak was also making my mouth water...he loved it. Staff very busy but welcoming amd looked after us well.Will definitely be going back for more....Thanks guy’s.
