The London Fryer - Torbay

We were welcomed by smiley Katy who served us drinks and talked us through the different types of fish available. They have an extensive menu so it was difficult to decide what to order, but settled on Monkfish Curry. We were not disappointed. Very friendly staff (Katy is a huge credit to them), great menu and delicious food. This is a gem of a f&c shop in Paignton.

Wrong order, greasy chips, missing salt and vinegar…what a disappointment. Definitely one to avoid from now on especially when there are so many good local alternatives. So bad even the seagulls left us alone.

Don't go here. Second time . And again didn't get what I ordered. Chips not been near a fryer. Use to be good. Avoid now.

Visited for the first time in a while for fish chip takeaway. Really disappointing the fish was dry over cooked and chips were also very dry.

Sadly not what it was. Could be they change in the summer and just serve frozen soggy fish to the holiday makers. Sadly as a local who has given this establishment a 5 star rating before will not be returning. Large fish and chips looked like a normal portion not really enough for one person at nearly £15 it’s a joke.
