The Prince Of Orange - Torbay

During our stay at Park Dean, we found the drinks to be quite costly. So, on the first night, we decided to venture to a nearby pub. We ended up going there every night, except for one when we stayed in Plymouth. The pub was very welcoming, especially thanks to George, who enjoyed teasing the regulars. If I were to return, I would definitely go back for a pint at this friendly establishment.

The garden area of this restaurant is a bit strange, with tables and chairs covered in ash and bird droppings, as well as a lot of empty chip packets. After being told that our 12-year-old was not allowed in the pub area and having to sit in the cold, dirty garden, the experience was not pleasant. It was disappointing for a regular family looking to enjoy some drinks and a meal together. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Today, I visited this restaurant with my partner and 16-year-old son. We were hoping to grab some food and a soft drink. However, upon entering, we were greeted by two elderly men loudly discussing personal topics that made us feel uncomfortable. We decided to sit in the beer garden, which was only able to accommodate around 10 people, but there were only a total of 6 people including us. When my partner and son went inside to ask for the food menu and inquire about soft drinks, they were rudely told that children were not allowed inside or outside the establishment. As a nurse working for the NHS, I was hoping for a pleasant break with my family, but instead, we were met with disrespect and poor customer service. I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially families. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment.

As we walked in two old men where speaking about excrement and toilet matter got greeted by the bar man to be turned away and too be discriminated against as I’m 16 with my mother and father doesn’t sign post anywhere that 16 and unders weren’t allowed this was a terrible experience and this pub will never have the pleasure of our company, business or money i recommend steering clear of this unwelcoming environment didn’t even have the chance to ask for a soft drink menu felt ill and uncomfortable upon walking through the door do not take youre family there this was early afternoon absolutely vile

Brilliant went for a wake staff were friendly and helpful food was excellent and definitely worth a return visit
