My parents are regulars at The Ashbridge and know the staff well. Dad was very unwell and couldn’t move for over two hours. Jane and her staff kept the area private and checked regularly to see how my parents were. When I arrived with my husband, it was clear how concerned Jane and the staff were and they had really looked after my parents. They rang for an ambulance twice but were told 8 hours! Dad started to deteriorate so I called and begged them to come. Within an hour we had the help we needed and Dad was soon on his way to hospital. He is still there and has been having heart tests. As a family, we cannot thank Jane and her staff enough. Knowing how much they care for their customers is wonderful. Thank you Thank you.
As this restaurant is next to my hotel it made sense to try it. Asked for chicken and ribs, but no ribs. How about haddock and chips,no haddock. So had to settle for gammon steak. It was ok but not what I wanted.Service fine.
I had not booked to eat here so had a short wait for a table. It was no problem for me and was happy to wait at the bar and have a beer. The staff was very attentive without being in your face. The food standard was good the service was excellent. This restaurant is right next to a premier inn, and I would book to stay there without hesitation just because this restaurant is next door. The credit card machine was not working during my visit, so cash only.
Thanks Rob for your excellent service, attentive whilst not intrusive. Good food, lovely puddings in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The waitress service was ok , we went at 3pm and half of the food was unavailable The food wasn’t Great. But you get what you pay for I suppose needless to say we won’t be frequenting again.
