L'atalaya Torla

We were attracted to this restaurant because, unlike most rural Spanish establishments, its menu included vegetarian and vegan dishes. I started with braised cardoon in a rich, creamy almond sauce, followed by a brik crispy pastry filled with purple potato, mushrooms and tofu, accompanied by grilled vegetables and an onion sauce. This was a beautiful, colourful dish, packed with flavour, and if I went back and it was on the menu, I'd definitely order it again. I wish I didn't live a day's drive away, otherwise I'd be a regular diner in the Atalaya, not only for the quality of the food, but also the attentive and friendly service.

The restaurant was full, so booking is advisable. The food was typical of this area not haute cuisine but genuine, freshly made with good ingredients. The service was friendly and efficient. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their work while we certainly enjoyed the meal.

Sitio muy pequeñito, sin lujos...tal cual un refugio. La comida está buena, aunque echo de menos algo más típico y menos moderno en cuanto a platos se refiere. Respecto a los servicios, solo diré que alguien grande no cabe...tenerlo claro.
