Gem City Pizza - Toronto

I visited Gem City Pizza in Myrtle Beach, SC, a few years ago and absolutely loved it, returning several times during my vacation. I found out that the owners are from Toronto, OH, so when I was passing through Toronto on business, I couldn't resist stopping by. It was a fantastic experience, just like I remembered. Their pizza is among the best I've ever had, and the sweet and spicy tray was incredible. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area.

This restaurant is a successful newcomer in the crowded Steubenville-style pizza market. A true gem in the Ohio Valley, it's definitely worth a visit to try their pizza! I first discovered this place when I asked an employee at Planet Fitness who was providing the pizza for their Monday event. After a quick workout, I indulged in a square slice of their white pizza and instantly knew I had to bring some home to share with my family. Not only do they offer the best white pizza I've ever had in the area, but their friendly staff and affordable prices make it a winner in my eyes! It has officially become my favorite pizza spot!

I've been coming here for a long time, and I honestly believe this is the best pizza in Toronto. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because of the crust; the dough has a somewhat heavy taste that I'm not particularly fond of. I prefer my crust to be a bit lighter, with larger air pockets in the dough. That said, it's not a major issue—just a personal preference. I do enjoy the atmosphere here, as it's great to order a pizza and have a beer while you wait.

Gem city pizza is the best pizza around, that's saying something considering in a 4 mile radius we have nothing but pizza places, great service, fast delivery cheap prices. I Highly recommend treating your tastebuds to a flawless Gem City square pizza! Perfection to a T!

I ordered a few slices of red pizza and a white pizza. The sauce for the red was good and the crust was nice and crispy if a little doughy. Steer clear of the white. The white pizza was the worst I've ever had.
