Perhaps the owner should watch the news and consider the possibility that they might be busy with that many people in the neighborhood around lunch time. We waited over an hour for our food and this is what I received. It’s supposed to be a chicken club sandwich. As someone with celiac disease, I’m used to paying more for gluten-free bread, bread that is often subpar. But this was the worst I’ve ever had in the entirety of my dining experience. It was still partially frozen and crumbled as soon as I picked it up. The chicken inside was dry and tough. If I hadn’t been waiting so long and wasn’t starving, I’d have sent it back. This disgusting mess and one cider cost me $30+. Never coming here again.
A popular meeting point for our former classmates of university toronto. offers the standard pub grub. service is always fast and friendly. the bedford is great for groups. there is a terrace with sitting facilities in front of and near the back. we always have a good time here.
We went as a group around 1 o'clock. the place was not busy, so maybe that was the reason I liked it so much. very clean, and that was very nice. the drinks and the food came fast. Overall I enjoy my time at this place and I will be back.
Vintage setting with multiple rooms giving you a sence of continuity and history. This alone is a prime reason to spend bunch of hours over beer and a sandwich. Place is 3 storey high nevertheless only main floor is for the casual beer goer- the 2nd floor seems to be an event space and the top floor is actually a private game room. Altogether a positive experience but 2 stars were taken away for the minimalustic beer choices.
It is unbelievable how the daily life can simply take over the takeover of itself. it's almost a year since I was with someone. tonight is about me and someone else. after some time it was decided that this converted villa would be recommended in a gastropub of the place for our first social .date? reservation. the bedford academy is a classic pub in the heart of the appendage. it has over two dozen local and imported beer on tap. wow! a selection of inside seats and a huge remote terrace for our culinary pleasure; we are inside tonight, as it is not enjoyable to learn about someone new while we freeze our back. the ambiente is very nice to quote my best friend and we could have a quiet conversation after all the big groups of diners. as for the menu it is standard powder food with flair: prime rib, chicken, salad, sandwiches like blt on craft broten, pastas, and curls like stout pot pie and chicken makhani. our server mayara has kept us satisfied with the correct attention. a very good evening, even if I had slenders in my own, because I was a few times from the dating scene.
