Kebobs are grilled to the perfect degree of tenderness. Servings are very generous for the price. The restaurant offers some of the...beaten track dishes like Liver schish Kebob for people who want to explore new taste. Environment is quite austere, so nothing to write home. The service is quite comprehensive (can be underpaid) but the order is efficiently accepted/served There are limited parking spaces on the front of Keele St, but there are many parking spaces right behind the restaurant
I knew this place was kinda good because a friend picked up lunch there once but, it took kinda long reason why I did not go myself. Today I had time to kill and I was glad I came. Food is tasty, I had the...liver plate, their dips are great and a salad is included with the meal as an appetizer. They use real coals to grill their meats, you can taste it. I will be going back to try more plates. Place seems pretty authentic as their clients seem to be from the same location, this is always a good sign of the authenticity of the food. Only thing is the price is like $5 more than a regular arabic restaurant like this but it does come with a salad and the taste of the food is great.
I was looking for something to eat with my friend about 3 months ago and we decided to check this place out.We never had Turkish meal before and wanted to try something new and i have to admit we were very nice surprised by the...nice little gem we found .It is located on a busy intersection of Keele and Wilson and the area is not the best area in Toronto or known for good restaurants (at least by me).The owners and the staff were extremely nice .We asked them to recommend something from their menu since we had no knowledge of Turkish cuisine. I can't remember what was the name of the meal ,but it came in form of a plater which can serve 3 ppl. and was extremely testy. We really had enjoyed a very nice meal in great atmosphere There were couple small families enjoying their weekend meal also .Service was very good and the owner let us try for free one of their desert when we wear leaving .Over all ,it was a very good experience which keeps me thinking going there again and worthy recommending!
I was unable to use the restroom at this restaurant due to poor hygiene. This made my dining experience unpleasant as I had to search for an alternate restroom. I do not recommend this place if cleanliness is important to you.
I ordered the mixed plate and the Kuvarmali Kasarli roasted Lamb Pide. Both dishes were excellent. However, when I ordered another pide, it was burnt and ruined the taste. The first pide I ordered was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was great so far.
