Bread and Bowl - Toronto

I was initially disappointed during my first visit to the restaurant as some menu options were missing when I tried to order specific spreads for my sandwich. Instead, I ended up trying the margarita pizza which was quite delicious. However, I decided to give the sandwich another try on a second visit. Despite the continued absence of the red pepper spread, I opted for the chipotle spread and chose pulled pork as my meat. The portion size was huge and the sandwich, toasted fresh in front of me, was the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. Although the ordering/payment system was a bit confusing, the food I have tried so far has been fantastic and the staff is friendly. However, I did deduct some points for menu options that are consistently unavailable and for the fact that the soup of the day often does not match what is listed on the menu.

The pasta and Turkish pizza were delicious. Pizza crust was slightly burnt. Chocolate chip loaf was a bit doughy.

The meat I ordered was not the same as on the sandwich. I asked for cold turkey meat and they put really thick hot turkey slices. It was gross.

Wonderful spot! They open at 8am and offer gluten free bread for breakfast or sandwiches. It's great to see more restaurants embracing gluten free options.

Staff is wonderful, and nice but food wise is eh_I paid 10.15 for a large salad (5 veg toppings, 2 seeds) that isn't even half the size of the take out
