Cafe Mirage - Toronto

I had such a horrible experience here for lunch with my girlfriends. Please think twice before choosing this place. Firstly, the food took ONE FULL HOUR to arrive at our table. (and others as everyone was complaining around us) As we were leaving I noticed a large smear of icing on my coat hood. There was icing on the back of my sweater and on the bottom of my coat. I notified the owner that one of the waitresses dropped icing on me and didn 't bother to tell me and he said , oh sorry (half-assed apology) and walked away . Then a waitress came and tried to take it off my coat with an old rag. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE. THEY RUINED MY COAT AND SAID NOTHING ABOUT IT. I expressed how upset and unhappy I was with my visit and they did not even say anything. Bad service and they ruined my coat without remorse or making it better. No one in my group will be returning to this place.

A delightful selection of scrumptious desserts and mouth-watering salads in a hip setting. The menu extends well beyond just desserts, though, with grilled sandwiches, salads, and all-day breakfast. Impressive wine list, a full bar, and two beers on tap. Ample parking.

We were 4 couples who went late on a Thursday for dessert. Service was quick. The perfect couple was really perfect. Some folks had cheesecake and raved about them. We even had one person who ordered a burger and loved it. Definitely a place to go back since the menu had many other items that sounded delicious.

In the past we come here for coffee and dessert. Last time we tried the food and loved it. Simple menu but the quality and flavor was fantastic! Salad was fresh and crisp, and the grilled cheese was awesome!! The prices are more than reasonable, and the quality is great. Just be patient with the servers, they're way understaffed and are running around non stop.

We went for desserts at Mirage on a Saturday evening, the staff and service was excellent. Comfortable sitting arrangement and very friendly staff, looking to assist and service you with a smile.Overall, will certainly return and looking forward more of the wonderful service experienced.
