For the same food elsewhere it would easily be $25 cheaper. It’s a great place to celebrate a milestone. Lovely staff.
The Stories Hinder a Fantastic Product. Yes, the owner is one that stands with a fist, but the pizza is absolutely phenomenal; the closest to Italian pizza I have ever eaten outside of the country (aside from my father's of course).<br/ <br/ A personal will run you over ten dollars, which is pricey, but its worth it for super fresh ingredients, homemade sauce and dough, as well a quaint experience in the legendary dining room.<br/ <br/ Many have been scared off from stories of this place, but it is a great pizzeria to eat at a couple of times a year.
Best Pizza. I grew up in this neighbourhood and have been enjoying their pizza since they opened. They are still one of the best places to get pizza. Sure they may have an off day, we all do. But one below par pizza from Camarra's is better than anything Pizza Pizza has to offer.
I met this chick like five years ago and we started to date, just this Saturday night We stopped in this place on the way downtown after seeing it for years and always wondering what the food was like and WOW the pizza was some of the best I have had in my entire life, no joke, the staff was great the place was warm, cozy and felt like home, the prices were fair. I will back, and I'll bring more hungry friends with me, this place knows pizza and I know hungry! Seriously if you eat at this place and are not full on happy with your meal let me know and I will come to the resturaunt and fly you round trip to Italy just so I can prove to you that you just can't and won't find better pizza anywhere pizza is made. Now shut up, get inside and enjoy your meal. :
Best pizza in the neighbourhood. In the Dufferin/Lawrence neighbourhood, Camarra's is the one the last great Italian places left, harking back to a time when the area was headed in that direction.<br/ <br/ Not overly thick nor chewy; but not thin or crispy either. Really strikes the perfect balance between the two.<br/ <br/ Had it set up shop in different neighbourhood, it would be in the lists with Vesuvio and Libretto.
