I adore this restaurant, it has an amazing ambiance and the owner Nancy provided us with excellent service. I highly recommend this place! Sending lots of love from Alberta.

If you are in the mood for a drink and some comfort food, then this is the spot to visit.Interesting juxtaposition: They specialize in Southern fried chicken and are right acrossfrom a KFC joint!I ordered the 2 piece Buttermilk battered chicken. Came with 2 e sides, macaroniand green beans, and a heavenly baked biscuit.Unfortunately, they were out of gravy, so that will have to wait until my next visit.Was delicious! What more can I say?Service was prompt at the bar, and bartender was friendly.All in all, highly recommended.A casual spot, with an outside patio, for a warm sunny day.

We had just left the Lower Ossington Theatre and were looking for a bite to eat. A few blocks down we found a gem. Eclectic menu and decor, but yet very welcoming. My friend was so excited to see Spearhead beer on the menu, since it's rare to find in most bars. We had the burger and chicken sandwich, and both were excellent. We had a great time reading all the interesting quotes on the walls. Not many tables, but a long bar.

An update is needed: The restaurant no longer serves food from Luther's Fried Chicken, it has transformed into a charming little bao counter.

I visited this restaurant on an early Friday night and it was still quite empty around 6:30pm. There was a TV, but it wasn't playing any sound. The food served was from Almighty Bao.
