The lounge was packed with people and had plenty of seating, including private booths right across from the grill. The food was delicious with no complaints, and the staff were all very friendly, making it a lovely experience. The only downside is that the prices can be a bit high due to the quality of the food and the prime location.
I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant! They went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday, even surprising me with a special drink. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the staff were all friendly and accommodating.
I had high hopes for this place. However, when I came here to celebrate my birthday I experienced poor service as I was waiting for my food for a long time and didn’t receive 4 of the dishes I ordered. And when I found a fly in my food their excuse was that the sauce on the rolls were sweet and attracts flies. Their online ordering system is also extremely glitchy. I screen shotted everything I ordered and when I showed them they told me many of these orders did not go through. I also payed cash on a large bill but after I left I learnt it was supposed to be 15% off food when payed with cash. The 15% was not applied and they did not bother to let me know when I payed my bill. Overall not a good experience and I am extremely disappointed.
As a seasoned food enthusiast, I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sakura Sushi Bar, a quintessential Japanese restaurant nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment I stepped through the traditional sliding doors, I was transported to a realm of culinary excellence and cultural immersion.Ambiance:The ambiance of Sakura Sushi Bar is nothing short of enchanting. Soft, ambient lighting combined with minimalist yet elegant decor sets the stage for an intimate dining experience. The traditional Japanese motifs adorning the walls and the soothing melodies of traditional music create an atmosphere of tranquility and authenticity.Service:Upon being seated, I was greeted by attentive and courteous staff who were eager to guide me through the menu. Their knowledge and passion for Japanese cuisine were evident as they patiently answered my questions and provided insightful recommendations. Throughout the meal, service remained prompt and unobtrusive, adding to the overall dining pleasure.Food:Now, onto the pièce de résistance – the food. Each dish at Sakura Sushi Bar is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to tantalize the taste buds and showcase the finest flavors of Japan. From the delicate sashimi platter, featuring impeccably fresh fish sourced from local waters, to the expertly rolled sushi rolls bursting with vibrant ingredients, every bite was a symphony of textures and tastes.Standout dishes included the signature Sakura Roll, a harmonious blend of creamy avocado, tender crab, and succulent salmon, all enveloped in a perfectly seasoned rice and nori wrapper. The Wagyu Beef Tataki, thinly sliced and delicately seared, melted in the mouth and left a lingering umami sensation. What truly sets Sakura Sushi Bar apart is their commitment to quality and authenticity. Each ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, and traditional Japanese cooking techniques are honored and celebrated. Whether you’re a seasoned sushi aficionado or a newcomer to Japanese cuisine, Sakura Sushi Bar offers a culinary journey that is sure
Went here for a big birthday party, about 17 people. The seating area is different so it’s a big hard to get in and out of with quickly, but besides that, the food is fantastic, my favourite being the chili kaarage, and the atmosphere is amazing. Very friendly staff, and they accommodated us well.
