The wings were crispy and lightly battered, coated in a tangy barbecue sauce that had a rich flavor, possibly infused with alcohol. The portion size was generous, with about a pound of wings for $12. The service was friendly and accommodating, and the live music added to the atmosphere. The music featured a mix of blues rock with jazz elements. The pub has a hipster vibe reminiscent of the Prohibition era, but it is still a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks.
This is easily the top small, authentic Irish pub in the city. With a great selection of popular beers and live music on weekends, it's a must-visit spot on the Danforth.
