I appreciated the complimentary dessert that came with the loyalty program, although I did suggest vegan cheese for the salad, but they brought regular cheese instead. Unfortunately, the extended wait for our order and the credit card surcharge were minor drawbacks. Overall, I'd rate it 4 stars.
I had a real problem with being charged 2% for using a credit card. It’s a cost of doing business, either don’t charge the guest or don’t accept credit cards. Really penny pinching!
Food was ok. I had the spaghetti meatballs which came with 4 small meatballs hidden UNDER the spaghetti which seemed like an odd way to present the food. When it came it just looked a plate of plain spaghetti. My friend had the bolognese. We both agreed it tasted like the meat sauce we make at home and both tasted very similar. So it was good but we expected more from a restaurant. We also paid $17 for a tiny Caesar salad with yellow lettuce....and the dressing was decent but not great. Given the state of the lettuce, they probably should have taken it off the menu. Service was ok...we had to ask for everything lemon, pepper, cheese...nothing was offered. Disappointing given the prices for average food. They also charge and extra 2% on the bill for paying by credit card which is absurd. In my opinion everything was average and over priced.
This amazing ‘wood oven pizza’ Bloor Street West establishment offers a cozy atmosphere with an open kitchen featuring wood fired ovens. They serve a variety of pizzas with different toppings, along with appetizers, salads, and beverages. Quality ingredients and traditional methods are often emphasized, providing diners with delicious, artisanal pizzas in a welcoming setting.
Sneering, careless, unprofessional staff and mediocre food. One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Don’t waste your money.
