I got the butter chicken grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was like I died and gone to heaven. The server was so freaking nice. Like it blew my mind how nice she was. I didn't drink so I can't rate the beers, but I give this place 5 stars because my food was amazing. God bless this establishment.
Hair of the Dog is my go-to place for brunch, and I'm very lucky to live close by. The staff is always friendly and the service is excellent. Try the breakfast poutine over a pitcher of mimosa for a boozy brunch Sunday! You won't be disappointed. I just wanted to extend my thanks to the staff yesterday for accommodating the large, annoying crowd for my birthday. You guys rock. See you soon I'm sure .
We recently visited Toronto. The Hair of the Dog was suggested to us by the owner of the McGill Inn Bed and Breakfast. The Hair of the Dog was our first meal in Toranto. I have to give kudos to Dasar may have spelled that incorrectly) our waiter. In a nutshell Dasar got my son to order and try a salad. No small accomplishment). The food was delicious. Mac and Cheese was hearty, plenty and tasty, it comes with some tasty garlic bread. We decided the garlic bread was good enough for a 2nd go around, we pick some up to go a few days later. My son also had the fish and chips, this is one his favorite and he can be fairly discerning. Thanks again Dasar. You made us feel welcomed in Toronto.
I first went to Hair of the Dog almost 2 years ago and I had a absolute blast. Its got a great intimate vibe with awesome drinks . The staff is more then welcoming and friendly. I had a chance to go back this weekend and it didn't disappoint one bit. I'd say it's great for a first date or just grabbing drinks with some friends. The place is a hidden gem in Toronto......Cheers!!!!!!
Always a great atmosphere and good food. Love the patio! Shared a pitcher of tasty sangria with a friend and it was surprisingly non-potent. Not even the hint of a buzz, but otherwise delish. Will always come back!
