No smiles, all business like. The portions were moderate, not great but not bad either. The restaurant is extremely tiny, only 5 tables, old wooden tables, not overly comfortable or clean looking. Investing in new furniture to compliment the small space would be wise on the restaurant’s part. If we ate here again it would be take out.
This place is a little Gem! It's small, 17 seats. They do a brisk take out business too. Everything was wonderful super fresh, and beautifully presented. I've been here 4 times this month! A
I was absolutely delighted with Japango! The hotel staff said it's the best, and they were so Right! It's a very small place (18 seats). They do a brisk take out business, as I watched a continual stream of drivers coming to receive their parcels. The service was prompt, very kind, and the restaurant is very clean. Even though it is small, it feels spacious, as they have obviously carefully considered patron comfort, in designing their space. The Food it was Perfect! I ordered the #6 sashimi dinner. It came with a fresh ginger salad, miso soup and tea. The sashimi was presented on a bed of sushi rice, decorated with microgreens, diakon, mango and a fresh lime wedge. The fish was generous and delicious. I highly recommend!!
We chose this place to have sushi when in Toronto as it’s been a while since we had a good one. This place was not too far from where we were staying and decided to give it a try. The place is really tiny, there are about 10 tables(or even less), so it gets full very quickly. The tables are really close to each other, so if you are looking for privacy this is not the place. Otherwise, the food was delivered quickly and was good.
Excellent quality Fresh fish. Sashimi plates where a good size for the price and really enjoyed our meal. Definitely will be back again and again.
