Jumbo Burgers - Toronto

The kind of place that is lauded by some, mostly just an old-school kind of hamburger joint, and maybe a little out of place in a gentrifying neighbourhood. This is still definitely in the realm of fast food, but tastes like a higher end version of the what the chains have on offer. Not so hard to find or replicate, but worth a visit for the ambience of the olden times.

The burgers are delicious and home made! Everything is very fresh. They offer onion rings as well! The place is small but the food very good

When I first saw this place I, honestly, didn't feel like trying it..After I've heard some comments about the place I've decided to go and give it a try...Very fresh burger and very good cost! Around $5.90 the burger! Very good fries as well.

Small diner with parking. we were on holidays and didn't know what to have so we drove and looked for a small place that was busy. Boy oh Boy what a place and so, so glad we stopped. 3 guys we think brothers working the place. True old fashioned burger even has a tv on the wall with sports on. Hubby liked that... old style tables with chairs attached not lots of room but I squished in. Food and price are great and what more do you want. good old fashion place good old fashion guys. love it don't snub your nose it is great.

Had my umpteenth Cheeseburger, fries with gravy and onion rings at Jumbo a few days back. Still a damn fine meal like it was 30 years ago. Getting a bit pricey but still worth it. Only difference is I had to doggy bag half the meal cause I was full. A first for me...old age has its rewards I guess.
