We ordered two main course dishes, white chicken karahi and mutton karahi. I wouldn't say they were good, but they weren't bad either. I have had much more delicious and tastier versions of these dishes before. Overall, I found the restaurant to be overrated and my experience neutral.
Placed an order here at 11pm as told on the phone the order would be ready in 30 45 min. Got there close to 12. Upon arrival no staff was outside. Upon waiting finally one of the servers came out, asked me the order name. Then proceeded to the back. Waited for her and still the order wasn’t ready. I politely asked her how long and she said her friend is bringing it out. The order was brought out and I paid and left. We got home and the food was extremely cold, stale and not fresh at all. The chicken biryani tasted as if it was 1 week old and warmed up a dozen times. The chicken Karhai was so bad, I couldn’t believe we got it from KP. The chutney was so watery, clearly you can tell how old there food products are all the mint is all the way at the bottom. And on top of that we ordered regular coke, got home and yet another surprise we were given one of them Coke Zero. Everything went straight into the bin, thanks for wasting our hard earned money of $64.38 straight into the garbage. Myself and our family has always raved about KP and the delicious food and all the amazing experiences we’ve had at the Finch location. We figured it’s the same establishment, so we went ahead and placed the order. But not anymore this was the last time. So disappointed with how we were treated here. These types of businesses when they neglect customer service and the quality of the food they eventually lead to closures. Why are you open till 4AM? Cut down with the hours and serve quality food, instead of serving cold, stale and old food. With the one bite we ate, I’m praying we don’t get sick with food posing. Stay away from this location especially. I will be reaching out to public health to look into this location immediately.
I have to be honest, the food at this restaurant was not very flavorful. The butter chicken tasted bland, like flavored water, and the chicken biryani was like plain fried rice with turmeric. I was expecting the dishes to be packed with flavor, but I'm not sure what all the hype is about for this place.
We went here on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty. The food here was really tasty. We ordered the following:Chicken Karahi (Dark Meat, which is essentially Legs and Thigh) 9/10Naan 10/10Lassi 10/10Lahori Fish 10/10Everything was really well made, and serving sizes was decent for 2 people. The food was a bit pricey, but I guess the taste compensated it for us.We'll try the Peshawari Karahi the next time or the BBQ one as they seem more tasty. The staff was polite and their wash rooms were clean as well. It's definitely worth coming again.Vegetarian options: veg options are available.Dietary restrictions: halal friendlyParking: a number of spots available in front of the restaurantKid friendliness: somewhat.Wheelchair accessibility: yes.
