La Bartola - Toronto

We were greeted warmly by the host and seated . We loved the table as it was across the open kitchen. The waiter Santana was lovely and explained the various cocktails and the Mexican dishes which are based on the Oaxaca region . The margarita was delicious and the tacos and molés were incredible! It was probably one of the most delicious and memorable meals we've had in Toronto and we can't wait to return!!! The flavours were so authentic fresh and amazing

Great food, great experience for a catch up with best friend as I had been wanting to try and was very impressed. Overall, too expensive for average meal out, but will definitely revisit for special occasions. Thank you!

Our dining experience was fantastic. You could tell there was a lot of pride in everything that was served. We sat at the bar and it added to our experience as we watch the bartenders crafting unique drinks.

Magnificent food! I am Mexican and the flavours and vibes felt so genuine and on point. Very nice environment, and the staff reminded us of the Latin American warmth that makes you feel right at home. I can't wait to go back and continue exploring their amazing menu and delightful cocktails.

The food is very innovative and quite delicious. We ordered the 3 course prix fixe so were able to try 6 different dishes. Environment is very nice and it's a pleasure to sit at the bar and watch the bartenders create complex and beautiful cocktails. But, the food came too quickly to consider this a dining experience and a full evening activity and, perhaps given how fast it went or because it is all vegetables (no proteins) no matter how beautiful and tasty, at almost $100 pp including tax and tip and 2 of the less expensive and non-alcoholic cocktails, it felt too expensive.
