Lake Inez - Toronto

Fantastic experience. We ordered their ham platter and cucumber appetizers, both were delicious with unique flavors. For our main we ordered the Miami fish, the condiments perfectly balanced out the fish. Their dessert was also good but a bit too sweet for us.

Came here for the mystery patio. It's a lovely comfy rooftop patio with a tasting menu to die for. Each of the 6 dishes had either a wine or cocktail to put it over the top. Service was so fun. A small group of diners allowed for some awesome attention from the owner and chefs. Each offering was described in detail as well as the accompanying alcohol. Lots of seafood, ie tuna, lobster etc. one of the dishes was pork and I let them know beforehand that I don't eat meat. No biggie. The pork was replaced with fish in the exact same sauce. It was a pricey evening but oh so worth it.

I’ve spent a fair few evenings at Lake Inez over the years, and it is always a memorable uniquely whimsical experience from start to finish. To briefly touch on the magic:I look forward to reading the book of short poems masquerading as a wine list almost as much as drinking the wine itself. (The selection is damn dreamy too)The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and the perfect amount of quirky. The service is stellar.Most importantly of all, the food is delicious. It’s also a lot of fun- a vastly underrated quality to a meal if you ask me.The only restaurant that I will undertake the harrowing journey to the East End for. I’d probably go even further honestly…

The Mystery Patio Tasting was an absolutely amazing all encompassing experience. Each dish left us speechless, and the beverage pairings were on point. This is the way you want to experience this wonderful restaurant. Zac and his team show incredible attention to detail that is harder to find dining in this city. 10/10, thanks for a wonderful night! We will be back and will be recommending this experience to friends and family.

Fantastic experience. 5 friends went for all the plates and tasted everything. Staff made sure we had 5 of everything for equal tasting. Food was divine. Restaurant was loud, so it was tough to chat but besides that it was fab! Thanks for a great meal.
