I have seen times in which the girls actually work with someone on a phone call to speak while the chicken on the grill. no smile, no hello, how can I take their order. the owner here probably thinks it's back to home where you can ignore customer service and be rude, but it's actually the opposite in toronto, it's all expensive, so I would expect the service and quality to be there. not organized at all and they have no problem to serve them old fries and huh. I don't understand why this place is so bad for customer service because they were first opened they were thrilled and actually showed a smile. food quality is bad and customer service is not existent. they speak in urdu to each other before the customer who is also very unprofessional.
It's unbelievable how inconsistent this business and its meals are. It's one of those establishments where you'd feel awful for the owner because the place has the potential to do so much better if it wasn’t for the staff. The staff treat me rudely, but it's okay since I don't really care how the staff treats me; I simply care about the quality of the meal. Not because I enjoy it, but because this is the closest Lazeez restaurant, I visit it frequently. Unfortunately, this location is very distinct from its other locations. These folks skimp on ingredients so much that they act as though you haven't paid. Although you must pay for extras, you hardly ever get them. Why the owner hasn’t fired them is so beyond me. I only visit because there’s these two precious staff members that’ll treat you with respect and make your food in the best quality, if I don’t see them when I enter, I exit.
Needed a quick bite and head to the nearest museum. Alone person on the counter to take orders and make them.Ordered a Falafel on rocks and sticks. Preferred the lentil rice (rocks), but the location did not have any and so disappointing. The fries freshly made and so were the falafels which were made after we ordered them. As usual the Lazeez brand did not fail (just as most of the locations we have been to).More importantly the person on a Sunday afternoon that made this order was very pleasant and provided great service. Extra stars just for his amicability.
