I found this statement to be quite shocking. After reassuring her that it was not a problem and pointing to an empty table where we preferred to sit, she still insisted on confirming with the other diners. She ended up announcing to the occupied table next to us about the service animal, making us feel uncomfortable. Issue 2: Our food arrived at significantly different times. My colleague's meal came at least 20 minutes before mine. It wasn't until I asked the waitress how much longer I would have to wait that my meal finally arrived. Despite her promise to check on the status of my order, she never returned with an explanation. When the food did finally arrive, it was good, but the long wait and lack of communication regarding the delay were unacceptable. Overall, the poor service at this restaurant has led me to the decision to never dine there again. I will also be sharing my negative experience with my colleagues and friends. It is unfortunate that such a lovely meal was overshadowed by such disappointing service.
We waited for about 10 to 15 minutes without a reservation, as the restaurant was quite busy on a Thursday evening. I have included pictures of the entrance and the interior of the restaurant. For our meal, my wife and I had the hot and sour soup, which was excellent. We also tried the wonton soup, which was delicious. My wife ordered the mixed vegetable stir-fry with shrimp and chicken fried rice, which we shared. The rice was also very tasty. We couldn't finish all the rice because the portions were generous. I enjoyed the Szechuan scallops and shrimp dish.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic. We visited on a Monday afternoon and had the whole place to ourselves, making for a very peaceful dining experience. The food was served quickly and was truly delicious.
Used to take or dine in this restaurant, they had delicious and delicious Chinese food. Unfortunately, our last delivery order was extremely bad. Quality went down, bad presentation, worse than junk food and above all very above price. Could...not eat the food, because the taste was very bad, he seems to have a new boss without experience or has no clue to Chinese food. Will not return.
I am angry. Lee Chen has a very good rating on Ubereats, and the presentation of their food looked very good on the website. The prices are high, and I expected an equally high quality of food. I was sorely disappointed. The green onion pancakes...were excellent, and with that, my adjectives disappear. The vegetable dumplings lacked anything regarding taste, the pork spare ribs (at $20.99) were in a bowl of brown gravy, and whilst the meat was very good, I had to reduce the sauce on the hob before it resembled anything I would like to dip them into. My wife’s black bean chicken was seriously under-seasoned, and, liked the ribs, sitting in a tasteless wet gravy. My General Tso Shrimp contained the same wet, runny sauce, with undercooked onions and chillis, and was also under-seasoned. Once I had drained the ‘water’, seasoned it with salt and pepper, and stir fried the onions and shrimp, my dish was finally ready to eat, and was rather good. I should not, however, have to go to to that amount of effort to make an expensive take out taste good. Luckily I knew how to do it, but, on my one night off from cooking in several days, I should not have had to so. Overall, a very bad experience.
