Honestly, these sandwiches are anything but boring. The turkey club is my favorite in the city—possibly even the best in the world. The butter chicken sandwich comes in a close second. The food is consistently tasty, and I'm really glad to have this spot in the neighborhood!
This place is fantastic! The sandwiches are absolutely amazing. The corn fritters paired with the spinach dip (I believe?) were incredible!
Oh, and just so you’re aware, nobody asked me for a tip—not even the card machine. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Downtown Toronto!
Leslie Pumps is an independent gas station, general store, and barbecue sandwich shop that feels like it's been transported directly from rural Ontario to the intersection of Queen and Carlaw. The retro, rustic decor combined with the bright and roomy diner seating creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sandwiches are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the variety of desserts is quite impressive. My top choice for a quick energy boost is the perfectly balanced corn muffin, which isn't overly sweet, paired with a cup of black coffee. It's the kind of place you'll want to keep coming back to!
