Monkey Sushi Danforth - Toronto

We ordered through Uber Eats and it was our first time ordering from Monkey Sushi Danforth. It exceeded our expectations. Everything was fresh and it was delicious! Would definitely order again and 100% recommended!

I ordered food from Uber Eats and went to pick it up. Unfortunately, the food was not hot at all. It seemed like they pre-cooked the food and just warmed it up when I arrived.

Inadequate, angry, aggressive employees are working. I asked for the bill to pay, and the waiter told me he would bring it in 10 minutes because he was too lazy to get up from his chair. Then he started shouting at the customers. There's a young Asian guy working there who is very angry and nervous; he needs to be fired, or better yet, deported, because he's very aggressive and hostile

Selection and the quality of their food is reasonable at most time, but the service and atmosphere is so terrible. Their udon soup seems always problem like so salty and rotten, but they just resist, not trying to fix.They don't understand even English. Even though some staffs understand, they are unfriendly and attitude problem there. I don't recommand this restaurant, but once a while for fun sushi time, I placed an order.Oh, by the way, if you are not careful, they charge 18% tips automatically for even takeout. How terrible are they!Parking: Not easy to park on the busy Danforth.Kid-friendliness: They are not friendly so not good for the kid at all.

Good price but not great quality of sushi. You do get a lot for what you pay, especially if you use ritual. We usually get takeout so can't comment on ambiance. Service is usually fast.
