I ordered it and instead they give me a frozen naan that I can buy in food business. when I got my food and took it to my table, I realized it wasn't what I ordered. I have relied on them and they said they had no more tandoori naan. If I hadn't asked her to, they would never have told me. I thought this was just happening once, so I went back. so far, it has happened to me several times. if they do not have tandoori naan then they tell the customer when they order it. don't lie to them and give them something else. it's a shame because that was my way to get for ziegenheiligtum and naaan. Many great Indian restaurants in the city that offer these so sick spend my money instead.
Eating here is good and the prices are reasonable. the facility and the ambiente are quite bad, and the plastic bowls made me feel like I'm eating in a cafeteria. if they are in little india, there are better places for them to eat, but if they are not darkened and on the look for a quick teller, this will do the job if not a little depressed from the interior of the restaurant.
The place is a bit a hole in the wall and shabby. if they long for a good old desi food such as dal makhani, butter chicken or paneer tikka, they should try. their thalis are quite economical. what I loved... about this place was their selection of Indian sweets they have a great selection of laddoos to barfis to gujias great place if they want to pick sweets for Indian festivals. the personal is also super sweet.
We have the restaurant around 6:15 restaurant was not too busy, but it took almost 40 minutes to get our order. my man had the meat thali goat curry, cauliflower, malai kofta, rice, naan, salat and for dessert rasgulla. I had the huh Tikka...Masala with naan the naan is huge. never disappointed with my order, nor was mine man. very tasty, beautifully seasoned. only to my opinion after too many boiled and raw. the bathroom is still delicious.
Whenever we are in Gerrard Street East, we always make sure to stop at Motimahal. Their dishes consistently deliver authentic Indian flavors, generous portions, and affordable prices.
